July was very busy for Evelyn David. It meant new promotion activities to reach out to Book Clubs and Senior Centers. If your group would like some bookmarks, just click
here and tell us where to send them. Also check out our new page on our web site for Book Groups. It features questions to kickstart a discussion of
Murder Off the Books, plus a recipe for Killer Brownies.
Also this month, the Northern half gave a presentation at Fort Lee Public Library in Fort Lee, New Jersey (and learned where the term "cliffhanger" got its start). The Southern half gave a presentation at the Grove Public Library, in Grove, Oklahoma and finally met two loyal MySpace friends. You can read blogs about both events at
Evelyn's MySpace page and at
Amazon Connect.
Coming up in August?
The Northern Half of Evelyn David will be speaking on August 9, 7:00-8:30 p.m., at the Bound Brook Memorial Library, in Bound Brook, New Jersey. On the same day at 1:00 p.m., the Southern Half of Evelyn David will be at the Windsor Branch Library, in Barnhart, Missouri. Isn't it lucky there are two of us?
On August 11, at 10:00 a.m., the Southern half will continue her Missouri trip with a presentation at the Northwest Branch Library, in High Ridge, Missouri. Later in the day, at 2:00 p.m., the Southern half will speak at the Arnold Branch Library, in Arnold, Missouri. Maybe a brief stop in Branson, Missouri will be on the agenda before heading back to Oklahoma.
On August 21, at 7:00 p.m., the Northern half will speak at the Pawling Free Library, in Pawling, New York. Please check the Evelyn David website for a complete schedule and join us at any of these events.
Congratulations to Diane D. of Chicago, this month's winner of a Whiskey coffee mug. We'll draw a new name at the end of August, so encourage family and friends to join our newsletter mailing list.
